Over 1.5 million children in Germany live in apartments that are too damp

Poor air quality or even mold as a result of moisture can greatly increase the risk of asthma in young children. Other respiratory diseases or neurodermatitis can also have health consequences. In fact, according to the study, 522,000 children under the age of 16 complain of health problems. That corresponds to around five percent of all children in Germany. Targeted renovations and correct ventilation and heating can eliminate the causes - and avoid health consequences. Tests - such as the AQA mold check - show whether the damp apartments already have mold problems in the room air.
